Public Social Services: Emergency Food Stamps

{AB 1914} Emergency Food Stamps are basically a way for people waiting for unemployment or people on unemployment to receive their food stamps quicker. I think this is a great idea because people without jobs have a disadvantage by not having any source of income at all.So they really don't have the time to take out of their day to wait in long lines to apply for stamps.Living in a state of emergency you're going to be rushing around looking for jobs or a way to pay rent the last thing you want to have to worry about is how you're going to feed your kids. The only question I have is why they wait until you're on unemployment to give you emergency food stamps.Why can't you get them faster when you have a job but you are still not providing enough money for you and your kids?
