Hello readers I know you guys must of missed my voice. All jokes aside I've been working like mad in the kitchen over the passed few weeks. Last week we prepared a care package for a mother of now three who needed a little support. This package consisted of two large lasagnas , two kinds of soup (corn chowder & cream of asparagus) , six bags of granola( 2 flavors), about a dozen snicker doodles, and one family pack of M&M's. All items, except the M&M's of course , were made fresh in our kitchen.
Once I had left I reflected on my day and felt overwhelmed with joy. My supervisor and I had unlocked foods true purpose, sharing. I began to imagine a world of 'we' instead of 'I'. We here at Youth Radio Eats want all of our readers to think and act on ways they can share with there families or communities.
